Jack takes Mrs Van Oeuf’s precious antique clock home to repair it for her. She hopes to sell it and has promised Jack a cut of the profits. Jack is horrified however to see the Moose making his way over the rooftops and down his chimney. The Moose lands in Jack’s sitting room, coating everything in soot, and makes things worse by hauling his clock repair tools down after him.
