When life gives you lemons what do you do? You make a lemon cake, with extra zest! And it isn't so difficult. Firstly, blend cake mix, milk, oil, lemon zest, and lemon juice together and set it to bake. Later, in a heated pan, add sugar, lemon juice, orange juice, cornflour, egg yolks, and butter to prepare the lemon curd. Now in another bowl add cream cheese, salt, vanilla extract, and orange juice, and mix well! You have all your layers ready. Slice horizontally your fresh out of the oven sponge Lemon Cake and spread the prepared lemon curd on it. Cover it with another layer and add cream cheese frosting to it. Add finesse by evening out the cream cheese. Now garnish it with some fresh slices of lemon and oranges. There, you've baked a rejuvenating Lemon Cake all by yourself!
